Vybe – Never Miss Calls or Messages Again! 

How would you feel if you didn’t have to have your phone glued to your hip everywhere you went, but you could still be notified of an incoming call or text message? Well, your not the only one, the folks over at “Wear Vybe” have come up with a simple and innovative way to solve that problem. They have created a device that you can wear as a bracelet. It  connects to your iPhone via Bluetooth and whenever you have an incoming call or text message the bracelet vibrates to let you know. Vybe, doesn’t stop there. It also helps you from leaving your expensive iPhone behind. The Vybe smart bracelet vibrates quickly whenever you step outside of the bluetooth range, reminding you that you  have left your phone behind.

Overall, I think this idea is very innovative, and  I am looking forward to using  it myself.  I can think of many times that this would have come in handy for me. Though, after thinking about it for a little while, I can’t help but ask myself, what other potential pieces could be integrated? Why not incorporate it into a watch? How about making it a little more fashionable than just  a rubber bracelet?  I’m sure if it catches on these alternatives will come down the pipeline at a later time.

We will be looking into stocking these once they are released, and any additional accessories available for the Vybe. It looks like it is going to hit the market soon this winter 2013, at the latest Vybe promised in their press release they would be shipped by February 2014. Once they are released the MSRP is set at $55, though preorders are available at $39.
